Hello Compatriots,

This is to announce that version 5.12 of SARApAid has been released.

Version 5.12 fixed an issue where a space was not provided between a date modifier and the date in a date field.  The Help file was updated to include the updates incorporated in the September 2023 Application Programming Guide, and the internal FTP parameters were updated to match the new hosting server.

Note:  Due to a change to a new server, the program FTP parameters had to be changed, so old versions of the program do not have the parameters required to contact the new server.  This means that the Update, Repair, and License Wizards on program versions earlier than 5.12 will no longer work.  After confirming that your license is new enough to update to version 5.12, perform a manual download/install of the program to obtain the update.

Note:  The installation, upgrade, and repair files associated with SARApAid continue to trigger false positive indications in many anti-virus programs.  In order to prevent your having to deal with undoing the deletion, quaranteeing, etc. that anti-virus programs may inflict on these files, it is highly recommended that you temporarily disable your anti-virus programs when installing, updating, or repairing your SARApAid program.  If you'd like to read additional information on why the false positives are triggered please click here and read the "Why do I get a "Windows protected your PC" message or a warning from my anti-virus program..." Once you upgrade to version 5.12, your Update, Repair, and License Wizards will work as always.
