Unless you are an experienced SARApAid upgrade installer, please read all of the following notes prior to downloading and upgrading your software:

• If you don't have a current SARApAid license, downloading and installing the following files will activate a DEMO version of the software.  There are a few features which aren't available on DEMO versions, and forms printed with a DEMO version will have "Sample" printed across the form, and are not acceptable for submission.

• The following downloads will work only with 32-bit Windows versions (Win95, Win98, 2000, Me, XP, Vista, NT 4.00+).

Notes for licensed users - Read before downloading!

Licensed users can upgrade free at any time (upgrades time stamped within 2 years of your license activation date) by downloading and installing any version of SARApAid with a version number greater than your current version.  If you prefer a replacement CD-ROM for your upgrade, or want to update your license file (you only need to do this if you want to upgrade your software to a version with a release date more than 2 years after your license date) see the Upgrade Order Form.

If you have version 3.35 or greater installed, you can ignore the rest of this page.  You can check for upgrades by selecting Help | Update Wizard (or SARApAid Update for early versions) from the program menu.  SARApAid will automatically check for updates, check to see if your license will accommodate it, and if you elect Yes to upgrade, will download and start the upgrade installation process automatically for you.

For the rest of you who have something less than version 3.35 installed or if you need to do a manual installation due to a malfunction of the Update Wizard...

• Your license date (seen on the SARApAid opening screen) must read 28 January 2006 or later to activate the current version!  If it reads earlier than this, then this download will overwrite your licensed version and activate as a DEMO.  This process cannot be undone!

• If you will be upgrading a licensed version of SARApAid currently on your computer with a version number less than 2.00, be sure and read the Upgrade Notes page.

Download and Installation Notes

When you click on one of the file download links below, your should proceed as follows depending on your Windows version (assumes that you have the latest upgrades installed for your version and you are using Internet Explorer):

Win XP:

• You should see a File Download - Security Warning Window...
  Answer the question presented ("Do you want to run or save this file?) by clicking the Run button.

• You should see an Internet Explorer - Security Warning Window...
  Answer the text "The publisher could not be verified.  Are you sure you want to run this software?" by clicking the Run button.

• The upgrade installation process should begin.
  

Win Me:

• You should see a File Download Window...
  Answer the text "Some files can harm your computer.  If the file information below..." by clicking the Open button.

• The upgrade installation process should begin.
  

Win 95:

• You should see a File Download Window...
  Answer the text "You have chosen to download a file from this location...  What would you like to do with this file?" by selecting the Run this program from its current location item and clicking the OK button.

• You should see a Security Warning Window...
  Answer the text "Do you want to install and run sarxxxxx.exe from www.coxsoftware.com?" by clicking the Yes button.

• The upgrade installation process should begin.

Downloads

To download a DEMO version or to upgrade any installed version, download SARApAid version 3.40 (2.6M - SARAA340.EXE).

To upgrade a version 3.35 or greater which has lost the capability of auto-upgrading, download SARApAid version 3.40 (short) (1.2M - SARSH340.EXE).
